Kenilworth Boxing Day Cyclo Cross

Ewan Grivell-Mellor continues his preparation for the under 23 National Championships with a fine podium at the Kenilworth Common Boxing Day Cyclo Cross. 103 riders entered the 63rd running of this Christmas classic which starts on the road that runs alongside the common with a lung bursting climb to start before dropping literally onto the Common via the notorious bomb-hole. A slow start meant it took a couple of laps for Ewan to get up to 4th place before making the podium on the last lap behind pro’s Steven Roach, Raleigh and Dan Booth, Hope Factory Racing.
