Mid-Shropshire Wheelers winning team in the Anfield 100, 1961

Below is a photo of the winning MSW team in the classic Anfield 100 in 1961 right to left; Jim Blackhurst, 4.23.34, Dennis Williams, 4.31.48 and Ken Hughes, 4.33.56.

In the background is the Rolls which belonged to a winner of pre-war days; Seymour Cobley whilst the bike frame is a Jim Soens.

The winner of the event was Harry Middleton East Liverpool Wheelers, 4.13.56.

Three other MSW members rode; "Taff" Brissenden, 4.45.10, Stan France, 4.48.38 and Ray Page, 4.55.03.
